This Supposedly Authentic Italian Restaurant is 🫠

Decided to try out this pretty well-known and authentic Italian restaurant called Etna Italian Restaurant (Duxton). Heard great things but unfortunately the experience fell short here.

Things we ordered here:

• Tuna Tartare $22 6/10 — Minced very small and did not taste very fresh or had much flavour

• Quattro Stagioni $24 7/10 — This took very long before it came, perhaps it was a busy Friday night. Crust was decent but could be more flavourful.

• Linguine al Granchio $28 8/10 — The pasta was good and really tasty

• T-Bone $14/100g 6.5/10 — Beef was pretty dry and severely under-seasoned. Think we paid around $130++ for it and we didn’t feel like it was very well done.

We also ordered a few others dishes which are not pictured but from memory, nothing really stood out. Perhaps we did not order their popular dishes but I’m not sure if I’ll be back here if I’m craving for a hearty Italian fare.
