We tried tufting for the first time! ✨

Tufting seems to be everywhere on IG, TikTok, Lemon8, so we had to try it out for ourselves! As this was our first time trying tufting, we decided to go for the smaller sized rug / bag (20x20cm) at Tufting nuts

Note: 2 people will be sharing a frame and a tufting gun, you have to take turns practising and tuft your work.

✨ Experience:

🧶 We started off tracing out our design on the cloth. The instructor will assist with projecting the design on the cloth

🧶 There was a quick 20-minute introduction on how to use the tufting gun. They also provided us with the different lines and shapes to practise.

🧶 Time to pick the color of our yarn and start tufting! Started with the outline (which was slightly challenging due to the curves), then filling in with body (with simple straight lines)

Overall rating: ⭐️ 5/5

The staff were nice and would frequently check to ensure we are doing ok. We were pleased with our work and can’t wait to collect our customised rug in 2-3 weeks!
