The solution to quit your mobile phone addiction and use your mobile phone reasonably is to start by programming yourself!

Since working from home, there is a lot of freedom that I can’t control it. Sometimes I keep scrolling my phone and turns out I waste a lot of time without even noticing. As it continues to happen, I notice that it is depriving my own energy. So I decided that I need to take control of it!!!

Here’s my effective method which works! Not only it works for the “phone situation” but also other bad habits that need to be gotten rid of.

It is mainly divided into five stages

1. Write down the bad habit and its specific scenarios (what happens and the consequence)

2. Understand the reason for this behavior (◎Example 1 - Why did you pick up your mobile phone?! What is the motivation/reason for us to pick up the mobile phone?)

3. Analyze the factors that cause us to have these consequences (example 1 Subjective/objective conditions lead to this result?)

4. Based on the previous analysis, come up with possible solutions (example 1 - Separate the solutions into inside factors and outside factors. For inside factors, the solution will be mindset and hint).

5. Build the instructions according to the solution, program yourself to repeat the memory in your mind, and “follow” the instructions when you encounter the situation.

(you must be determined to change the habit)

This method works well for me because it gives me a clear logic that make total sense and the “muscle” memory allows me to automatically respond to the situation, so I also want to share it with you.

Though we could not live without phones, sometimes it is also important to slow down and refocus back on ourselves.
