First Solo trip to Korea!

Hellus everybody! I went 🇰🇷KOREA alone last year oct,So im here to share my experience being in korea alone, also my first time gg on a solo trip (got this in my draft for half a year alr) 🤣

Guest house:

I stayed at a guest house in busan (4 bed female dormitory) @ canvas! It is kinda cool, near the beach area and very convenient as the bus stop is nearby. Its like $20(?) per night and the bed is quite soft and comfy. But the downside is there is no wifi in the room, and you can only use it at level 1 🥲🥲🥲. I met a few friends staying in that room, and its really kewls and i even went out with one of them hehe!!

Cute Art exhibitions:

i really love going to exhibitions like this, looking at art and perspectives. I feel like its great going alone, so im not really in a rush and can do what ever i want inside, take my time to view. I dont have much friends that appreciate arts like this so usually i goes to these places alone :”) but still i think its great!! Def recommend to try

Eat alone:

Honestly proud of myself being able to eat alone outside! Cuz even till 20Yo, i still have anxiety when i eat alone, but nowadays i really appreciate alone times. The only down side is, i can try as much food as i wanna cuz of the stomach capacity D: so many good korean food n im missing out. N omg the best: i had fried chicken alone in the hotel room by the window watching while watching netflix with 2 can of sprite🥹 100% miss that moments n the chicken 😭 fried chicken taste so much btr in korea, idk why

photoshoot studio/hiking/shopping:

🌷i went to hunt down the super cute designs studios, heh, kakao friends and kimbaduck! Hehe~ had a lil social anxiety bfore i take, cuz everybody else is there in a group/pairs :”)) but isoks, photoshoot alone is p fun!!

🌷Also did lil hikes at random places (cuz i decided to randomly walk without maps) n korea is really build on mountain hills, so much up n downs😱 my body really aint ready for this, no wonder they are all so skinny 🥹 manage to capture some really nice pics too with the digicam 💯

🌷 Im not a shop for makeup/facial kinda girl, but wew i am so easily influenced. I did not just spend $1000 in just olive young. Trust me, i dont even know i wat i buy or isit all for gifts n helping ppl buy. :”) i spend most of my time in korea in olive young, idk why 😭 when im in japan, i spend most of my time in the pharmacies too😭 tell me im not alone

🧳BUYING LUGGAGE!:

THIS IS IMPT!! For those who over buys in korea, JUST BARGAIN OR GO NEXT. I think i was at myeongdong? I didnt bargain or go next, i tried, but i was also scared cuz the korea uncle was getting angry/annoyed😭😭 after i buy the new luggage, while i was walking in the station, i realise my luggage can be bought at a cheaper price 🥲🔪 so ya, bargain or go next. And buyin in basement are usually cheaper (based on my observation)

🚐AIRPORT BUS:

i didnt manage to find alot of infos online on how and where to find the airport bus(going to airport). I was panicking right bfore the day im gg to come back to sg, as idk how im gg to carry my luggage n navigate if i took the korea subway. But thnkgod My friend who was working in korea then, send me a website link to track the airport bus and where to take the bus😭😭🥹. Its very convenient for me cuz there is a airport bus bustop nearby my hotel!! And its bout 17sgd for the direct bus ride to the airport. And the bus driver is super nice also, he will help to load and unload the luggages on and off the bus🥹 n the bus was super comfy too, i took a good 1hour nap bfore reaching the airport🤣

my flight back i booked SQ, with student priviledges hehee i have 40kg baggage allowance ~~ weeee all planned nicely

I didnt fancy korea like a usual tourist, cuz of things i cant do alone. But i did catch alot of kdrama moment vibes n now i really miss em alot alotKorea 😭 n the weather n food n being alone in a foreign country n nobody will disturb me🥲
