2 weeks of holiday is all it took for my build to shrink. While vacationing, it will be good if you’re able to work out! Unfortunately during my recent trip, there were totally no weights in the resort alps. Hence I did not work out at all over the 2 weeks & was busy out & about day & night while not eating enough!

Once back home, these are what I mainly did to catch up close to the physique that I had before I left for my trip.

1️⃣ Eating enough! 🥘

*crucial to eat enough according to your lifestyle/activity level. Eg for a person like me who does yoga & gym apart from working, I will need more calories than usual in order to fuel my body.

2️⃣ Protein 🥩

One mistake I had over my trip was not taking in enough protein. I usually take Nutrisoy which is convenient, sweet & enough for my daily intake. However when I was overseas, Nutrisoy isn’t available so a tip when having your trip is to get some protein powder!

3️⃣ Easing back into workout program 🏋️

it’s normal to get weaker after weeks of not training, and not lifting the weights you used to do can be quite a bummer. But it’s crucial to gradually increase them to prevent any injuries. I gradually increased mine over 2 weeks -

Week 1: 70% of working set weights

Week 2: 85% of working set weights

Week 3: Aims to get back to original weights!
