We got a FREE Christmas Tree?! 😱🎄

Yes you heard right! 😱 Our 2meter Christmas tree was FREE! If you haven’t heard already, we get almost all our Free furniture from Carousell and this was the newest one on our list!

We always knew we wanted a big tree in our house and started finding listings as early as August and stumbled upon this listing with a lovely blesser who got a new tree and wanted to give their old one away. And we gladly took it! 🎄

Now, it’s not too late to score a FREE tree if you’re still looking for one! Here are some tips:

1️⃣ Start searching for trees early! People always give away their old decor in Oct/Nov. Check every few hours on Carousell FREE section and follow My Carousell Guide to get the freshest finds. If you’re not in a hurry, check out listings in Jan when people start decluttering for the new year, you’ll confirm find a tree or two being given away!

2️⃣ Trees take up A LOT of storage space. So find one that suits your living space and make an informed decision. Don’t just take it because it’s free!

3️⃣ Most trees do not come with ornaments, be prepared to buy your decor first hand or look for sets on Carousell. We got ours from Taobao as we wanted a brown theme and it was hard to find what we wanted second hand.

Overall, we are happy with our tree and will do a separate post on our Christmas decor 🎅🏻
