SEOUL: bored of shopping? visit this place!

yes, art is subjective; and what might be interesting to me, might not be interesting to others. so do take my opinion with a pinch of salt!!🧂

i added this museum to my Seoul itinerary as i really love exploring museums and i didn’t want the entirety of my Seoul trip to be filled with shopping. 😵‍💫

here are the reasons why i enjoyed Leeum Museum of Art:

1️⃣ it houses traditional Korean art, like ceramics, calligraphy and metal works. i was in awe at how pretty everything was!! 😮

2️⃣ there were lots to see!!! the museum is composed of 3 individual buildings linked together. Museum 1 was where we saw the traditional Korean art. Museum 2 had modern art by domestic & international artists, but we did not explore Museum 2 bc my family found the museum boring ☹️

3️⃣ the museum itself is GORGEOUS. three famous architects (Mario Botta, Jean Nouvel and Rem Koolhaas) designed the building and i was snapping so many photos!!! 🤳

💸 Admission is free for most exhibitions, except for the special exhibitions.
