Is this a fake watermelon

Today morning my mom was about to cut this watermelon she bought this yesterday as soon as she sets it in the table it was like this like whaaaa!!!?? The texture was so weird it was like rubbery like plastic like box . Can Some one tell me is this normal or no because I seen on TikTok that this might be a fake watermelon. What do you guys think?
