Impromptu JB trip: Chucky Cat Cafe at Komtar JBCC

Spent a cozy saturday evening after Chucky Cat Cafe! For RM 24.90 (~$7.60 SGD) per person, you get unlimited interaction with the furry residents for an hour. I even added RM5 for some cat food - it was totally worth it, especially to break the ice and catch their attention.

The cafe spans 2 levels, there were at least 10 adorable cats, mostly Maine Coons and British Short-hairs. If you notice some wearing collars, there might be a bit more reserved when it comes to petting.

You'll be given shoe covers at the entrance. There was quite a bit of fur caught on them by the time we left! The place was quiet on Saturday 7pm, cats were winding down for the night. Even though they weren't super playful with toys, they were still gentle and undeniably cute!

Is it worth it? Absolutely! The cafe is clean, the cats are cute, and it's the perfect place to chill if you're a cat lover. Tip: their names are listed on the wall - try calling them by name!
