Getting our engagement and wedding rings 💍

After discussing with my partner, I decided to choose my own engagement ring. Hehe 🤭 He researched and brought me to Poh Kim. At first, I was a little skeptical about the place as it was an old office located in an industrial area.

When we got there, we got seated and were given many trays of ring settings to choose from. We were spoilt for choice! They explained to us about diamonds (lab vs natural; 4Cs) and gave us time to play around with the different settings and diamond sizes to see what we prefer. I felt comfortable as they were not pushy to try to sell their rings to us. They didnt have the size of the diamond i wanted so they had to ordered it. Once it was here, i went back to try the size of the diamond before the actual ring was made. However, the diamond did not look very proportionate to the ring setting so I asked to see a slightly bigger diamond. They had one 0.7ct available so I tried it and loved the look of it! So we decided to change the diamond as the price was not a big difference. The ring was ready within 1-2 months and it came with a box that had a spotlight. It was so perfect! ☺️

Now that we are getting married, we are back at Poh Kim to pick out our wedding bands! I decided to choose something that compliments the engagement ring. So I chose to combine 2 rings into 1, a matt finish at the bottom and pave diamonds on top. The matt finish to match with my fiancé’s ring and the pave diamonds to match my engagement ring.

Overall, my partner and I enjoyed making our rings at Poh Kim. They are very helpful with our enquiries and most importantly, the prices are reasonable and affordable! 5/5 would recommend! ✨
