I truly believe that you should allow yourself to have sweets and dessert when you like.
The more you deprive yourself of a food, the more you want it. By taking dessert off its proverbial pedestal, you take away the power dessert has over you and start seeing it as a normal part of life (because it is).
That said, it’s totally fine to have dessert every night, with the caveat that super indulgent, highly-processed sweets should be minimized, because you probably won’t feel good eating them all the time.
I like making my own homemade desserts and keeping them in the fridge for after dinner.
