Did you know these facts about crochet?

Did you know crochet cannot be machine made? Although there are tons of knitting machines out there that can mass produce products we wear daily, a crochet machine does not exist.

A lot of fast fashion companies actually underpay their workers (sometimes extremely) in order to produce crochet products to sell at a more affordable price.

True crochet pieces actually cost a great deal more than these prices because of the fact that they can only be made by hand and are thus mor time consuming than machine production. True crochet products really are investment pieces.

This is definitely a controversial topic (especially among fiber artists who work very hard on their creations). I’d love to hear your thoughts on this - have you heard this before?
