Do you want to become an esthetician?

Hi, my name is Iyahna and I am a Christine valmy nyc esthetician student. I originally wanted to go to school to do nails but fafsa didn’t accept the nail course because of how many hours are needed. And let’s be for real I’m a 22 year old single parent. I don’t have $10,000 to pay for school. So I went to school to be an esthetician and fafsa paid half😮‍💨🤩. Let’s let’s get on. We receive free facials and waxings. We can trade services from other classes. My school allowed tips when we did clinical. It’s was just an I real great experience. ⭐️Overall rating:4 /5

People wonder what exactly is an esthetician and what do you learn?

Q-What is an esthetician?

A- a licensed skin care professional that offers treatments and personalized recommendations to improve the health and appearance of the skin

Q- what did you learn in school?

A- I’ve learn anatomy, histology,makeup(basic and advanced), infection control, waxing, facials, laser hair removal, and more.

Q- how long is the program?

A- I went full time so it was 4-5 months 9am-4:30 pm mon-Friday

Q- did you have fun? Was it interesting?

A- yes it was great. Learned new things. Met new friends. It’s in the heart of time square. So yes it was amazing.
