✈️ 重庆 - idea for your next travel destination

You have probably heard of Chongqing because of Chongqing kao yu (重庆烤鱼) in Singapore. Chongqing used to be a city of Sichuan province, but it is now one of the four direct-administered municipalities. It is not a well-known travel destination but I would highly recommend ⭐️

🏨 Hotel

We stayed in Iseya Cloud Hotel. The rooms overlook the river and is right smack in the busy part of the city! Extremely convenient location. There is also a bathe tub which allows you to enjoy the night view while sipping on some complimentary alcohol provided by the hotel! Price is also relatively affordable for what you are getting!!

🚖 Transport

We took cab most of the time because it is really affordable - around $2 - $4 most of the time!!! You could either flag or use the app called DiDi.

🌶️ Food

To me, travelling is all about food!! I am a spicy food lover and if you are too, you will definitely enjoy Chongqing because it is the LAND OF SPICY FOOD/MALA. Some of the more popular food there include hotpot, skewers, stir fried food 炒菜 (eg 辣子鸡）and noodles such as 豌杂面. I also really enjoyed the night market as well as the roadside stores. So much 小吃 in Chongqing.

The prices are very affordable there and it was easy to pay using WeChat / Alipay. There are also direct flights. An option for your next travel plan ⭐️
