One of the best halal bakery I ever went?

My work allow me to WFH for 3 days of the week, thus from time to time I like to find some cafe to work instead from staying at home. #LoveMyself This time I got to find this relax place GAMO. GAMO is a new Muslim-owned bakery in Bras Basah Complex. It is a Japanese-influenced bakery that serves pastries and cakes, and officially opened its doors less than a month ago.

Since I reached in the late afternoon most of the bakery were sold out. I end up ordering a Double Chocolatine ($5) and a white ($5.5).

I like how chocolate croissant is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. And from the name of the croissant you can find lots of chocolate bits in it making the whole thing flavourful, one of the down side was that is it’s really cold, maybe it will be better if they warm it up.

It’s very rare for a cafe to have both latte and white in the menu ( does anyone know what’s the different between two? I order the white as it’s creamier and choose this bean called ichigo which have a very unique bitter taste to it.

This place is really quiet on the weekday, thus really suitable for a reading and chat with a friend.
