I am usually not a party person but I could not sit this one out. An all day party, celebrating Thailand’s New Year, Songkran WAS THE BEST FUN i’ve had in a long time

If you’re looking to plan your next trip to thailand, make sure songkran is part of it. Celebrated between the 13-15 April every year. Songkran is a massive party that take place all over Thailand.

Personally, (and i am biased) i’d say head to kohtao. This cutest little tropical island in the gulf of thailand knows how to party. You can walk or drive anywhere on the island and find a Songkran watergun pitstop. Walk the streets of Koh Tao in the day and engage in watergun fights with passerbys, homeowners and business owners.

My friends and I spent the day splashing passerbys at our dive school, drinking and raving along to the next door restaurant’s live dj. We then headed to Koh Tao’s party central, Saairee Beach. We got sprayed head to toe the whole day as we made our way to the pool parties, beach parties and clubs.

Best part about sairee? If you dont like the music, just walk right out the door and head to the next party you find.

OVERALL, IM DEFINITELY WAITING FOR THE NEXT SONGKRAN PARTY. YOU HAVE TO GO TOO
