1️⃣ There are 2 types of hostel

📎 Lemaing Hostel (Malaysian Citizen Only)

📎 Panalaban Hostel (Malaysian and International Citizen)

2️⃣ visit (https://reservation.sabahparks.org.my/) when the registration open

📎 just like buying concert tickets, you have to act quickly when the slots open

📎 have a few 2D1N options for your booking in case slots run out

📎 also consider the weather when choosing your dates."

3️⃣ Checkout Payment

4️⃣ Check your registered email for (Sabah Parks Billing)

5️⃣ Check your registered email for (Sabah Parks Ticket)

📎 use the link in your email to (self checkin within 2 days) before the climbs

6️⃣ Remember to print out Photocopy of your IC, Sabah Parks Billing and Ticket

📎 remarks: I just use e-ticket instead print out for my (Sabah Parks Ticket)

📌 The Day

1️⃣ pay your 💰Kinabalu Park Entrance Fees RM10

2️⃣ visit registration counter

3️⃣ submit photocopies of your IC and Sabah Parks Billing.

📎 remarks: submit all your friends documents together if you all go in as same group

4️⃣ confirm your name on the list

5️⃣ redeem your name tag

6️⃣ pay your 💰🚗 Transportation Fees RM10

📎 remarks: they drive you to Timpohon Gate

7️⃣ pay your 💰⛰️ Mountain Guide Fees RM350/5 = RM70

📎 remarks: maximum is 5 people sharing one guide, mine is 5 people in group

8️⃣ done

📌 Extra and Optional

1️⃣ could ask your porter for the carrying services

2️⃣ Porter Service RM14/kg

📎 will start carrying at Timpohon Gate

📎 They will timbang (measure) the total weight of your bags (within your group)

3️⃣ if you need it, ask for trekking pole rental (RM10/stick)

4️⃣ could get your lunch near the registration counter

📎 further down the registration counter area

📎remarks; if I even go again, I won’t get any of the lunch along the way except hydrated drinks and bars.
