My honest review of Mixsoon! K-beauty 🫧

My honest review of the Korean skincare brand, Mixsoon. My skin type is oily, sensitive, and acne prone! 

✨ Bean Essence

This has quickly become one of my favorite skincare products, and it truly lives up to the hype. The lightweight texture absorbs quickly, making it perfect for layering under makeup without any pilling or greasiness! I use it both day and night. When I apply it at night, the next morning my skin looks so glowy! It provides tons of hydration without feeling heavy which I love 

✨ Soondy Centella Asiatica Essence

Rating: 5/5

This essence has been a game-changer for calming my skin and I’ve noticed significantly less redness since incorporating it into my routine! The lightweight, hydrating formula absorbs beautifully, making it easy to layer with other products. My complexion looks more even and feels calmer overall. If you struggle with redness or irritation, I highly recommend giving this a try! When you initially apply it, it seems a bit greasy but it goes away in a few minutes! I can use this day and night 

✨ Centella Cleansing Water

Rating: 3/5

I really wanted to love it, but it didn’t quite work for me. Since I always wear waterproof mascara, I found that this cleansing water didn’t completely remove it and left behind some residue. That being said, if you don’t use waterproof products, this might be a better fit for you! It’s super gentle on the skin and feels refreshing, which is a plus. I do think it would be great for anyone looking for a light, everyday cleanser for regular makeup since it took my face makeup off super well! 

✨ Centella Cleansing Foam

Rating: 0/5 

Unfortunately, it just didn’t work out for me. Even with my oily skin, I found this cleanser to be EXTREMELY drying. After using it, my skin felt stripped of moisture and I started experiencing breakouts while using this. It didn’t leave my skin feeling balanced like I hoped it would :(
