Gisou vs Kerastase hair oils (top sellers!)

I have color treated hair so a good hair oil is MUST! Hair oils provide hydration, shine, tame frizz, and make your hair feel silky smooth.

In my opinion, a good hair is weightless on your hair, thin in texture, doesn’t make your hair look greasy, smells yummy, and does what a hair oil is supposed to do haha!

✨ Kerastase | Elixir Ultime Hydrating Hair Oil Serum | $54

I’ve been using this oil since 2020 so you already know I love it! When I had bleached blonde hair, this oil made my hair look and feel so much more healthy. It makes your hair so soft and a lot more manageable. It’s extremely weightless and non-greasey. The only thing I would say is a con, for me at least, is the fragrance. It smells extremely floraly and personally I’m not a fan of floral scents. The scent doesn’t last long in the hair so I didn’t care much. You can only smell it when you squirt it out of the bottle

✨ Gisou | Honey Infused Hair Oil | $46

This is a new addition to my hair collection and I’ve been looooving it so far. I love the drop applicator. I’ve never seen a hair oil have that. This one feels super silky and makes my hair feel so hydrated. There’s not really a smell to this one. I thought it would smell like honey but it doesn’t haha.

Although both these oils are amazing, if I had to choose I’d pick Gisou! There’s no scent, I like the drop applicator, and it absorbs into your hair a lot quicker!
