religion and spirituality in daily life

starting out, witchcraft and hellenism seem daunting and often ceremonial. but the more you practice, the easier it becomes to keep a routine practice. here are a few ways i incorporate hellenism and witchcraft into my day to day!

- veiling. veiling is a very widespread multicultural practice, although not everyone does it for the same reason. i veil to guard myself against miasma, while others might veil for modesty. some only do it during prayer, but i veil most of the time because it’s comfortable and pleases my patron, apollo.

- tea. if you’re a tea person, it’s as easy as dropping the teabag into your cup with intention. for extra kick, stir your tea clockwise while you envision what you desire, but it’s not necessary.

- witches’ ladders. these are simple all-purpose spells, usually string tied into nine or more knots and hung from the wall or ceiling or worn around the wrist or neck. it’s pretty simple and easy, and you can carry the spell with you without worrying about breaking something.
