My review: This was a good first book of the series! I liked the fantasy of it all and how it was more fantasy than romance (compared to ACOTAR). SJM eased her way into world building and slowly introduced the world to the reader. This reminded me of Divergent and Hunger Games and even a little bit of Harry Potter so if you were into any of those in middle or high school then you'll like this one!👑
