Hi there! I'm happy to share with you how I make some extra $$$ on the side. I stopped taking allowance from my parents when I started Poly, so I had to figure out how to make it work. Caveat: I'm lucky to have home-cooked meals most of the time and I still live with my fam, which helps me save some costs.

Here are some ways for students like us to make some extra cash:

1️⃣Content creation!

I mostly earn from Lemon8 and Partipost, which is super awesome!

⭐ Pros: Freelance jobs are flexible, which is perfect if you're already swamped with schoolwork. (I usually work on content creation during the weekends and at night!) Plus, if you love creating content, it's a bonus!

2️⃣ Internships!~

I do both part-time and full-time internships to earn more cash

⭐ Pros: Internships give you income and real-life work experience, which is great for building up your resume or figuring out your career goals.

3️⃣ Part-time work in school

My uni offers part-time roles for students, and I've worked as a teaching assistant and student researcher.

⭐ Pros: You gain hands-on experience and it looks great on your resume!

⚠️Cons: It can also be time-consuming and tiring, so plan ahead.

4️⃣Other part-time work

I also do some fit modelling and take up event jobs during the weekends and holidays to supplement my income!

⭐ Pros: It's usually really fun and interesting!

⚠️Cons: Work opportunities can be unstable, depending on the available slots.
