🇸🇬| Does Folk Yard live up to its hype?

Conveniently located just 1min away from Potong Pasir station, Folk Yard is a relatively new cafe that sells hearty sanwiches and patries. I love the vibes and aesthetics of this cafe🫶🏻

Starting from most favourite to least,

🥪Mushroom Miso [$13]

Perfectly toasted sourdough topped with tasty mushrooms. The taste of the rockets provided a tinge of palette cleanser with every savoury bite.

🥪Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich [$15]

Super big bites, super hearty. The curry taste in this sandwich was evident and goes really well with the whole meal.

🥪Houjicha Latte [$6]

Loved how you could actually taste the roasted green tea and was not overly sweet.

🥪Sweet Potato Fries [$8]

Crispy and of the perfect thickness!

🥪Curly Fries [$8]

Pretty good, but nothing too special.

🥪Iced White [$5.50]

I personally feel that the coffee used in this was not the right one. The coffee base used was the sour kind, which did not blend well with the milk. People who prefer bitter or sweeter coffee should not order this haha

🥪Lemon & Thyme Cake [$6]

I was unfortunately not a fan of this either :-( taste wise, pretty good. But the texture, not so much. The cake was way too wet for my liking. And it was squishing liquids out with every bite 😹

It seems that both sandwiches we had were really enjoyable so I would still say yes, it does live up to it’s hype. I would recommend this place if you are thinking of going! As for me, 100% going to be back to try the other sandwiches!🤤
