broccoli cheddar soup recipe 🫶

1️⃣ Dice half an onion, 2 cloves of garlic, shred the carrots and chop the broccoli

(I always use salted water to clean my broccoli, put it in for at least 5 min! You never know what’s inside of the broccoli 😭😭)

2️⃣ Heat up some olive oil, cook the onion a lil bit first and then add diced garlic, some onion powder, garlic powder and salt; I also added some cayenne powder just for the color, it’s totally optional

3️⃣ Add four tablespoons of flours (corn starch also works), then add 2.5 cups of chicken broth, 2 cups of half&half, the broccoli and carrots. Keep it on medium heat and cook for around 20 min till the broccoli and carrots are fully cooked and soft

4️⃣ Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese (you could always add more/less), mix them, taste and add salt if you feel it needs more
