🇰🇷 | Cafe inspired by traditional train station 🚂🙀

Ikseondong is a must-go if you're in Seoul. Aside from the insta-worthy traditional hanok buildings, there's lots of cafes to check out! 🇰🇷❤️

@nakwonst is a tiktok viral cafe, designed to look like a old-school train station with a flipping annoucement panel, train track and dessert conveyor belt. 🚞🛤

• 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐮 (₩𝟖,𝟎𝟎𝟎) 🌟

Unlike the squarish tiramisu that we often see in SG, this was served as individual slices just like cakes. Featuring beautiful layers of mascarpone cream and lady fingers, the tiramisu was slightly sweet yet light and airy. Even though there's siginificantly more cream than sponge, it wasn't too heavy or jerlak.

• 𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐮𝐩𝐟 (₩𝟖,𝟎𝟎𝟎) 🌟

Similar to bundt but leavened with baker's yeast, the gugelhupf was dense with a faint zestiness and subtle sweetness from the raspberry coating. However, my friends said it was a little dry which I think it's alright. In fact, I liked this more than the tiramisu.

As this was the second consecutive cafes that we went, I was too full to order any drinks but here's what my friends ordered:

💬 TLDR: The desserts were good but nothing amazing. I just found the whole "train" concept interesting and worth checking out if you're at Ikseondong!
