*New* Lau Wang Claypot Delight outlet @ Bugis 🤤😋

So excited! Been wanting to try @lauwangclaypot but their flagship store at Nex was a little far for me and now they have opened a new outlet at Bugis! 😍🙀🙌

Lau Wang has actually been around for more than 30 years and specialise in claypot dishes ranging from sambal prawns to herbal soups.

• 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 ($𝟔.𝟑+) 🌟

It may not look like it, but the portion was more than enough for two. We opt for the spicy version and it's served with dried chili and chili padi which delivered the punch and got our lips burning. The bite-sized chicken chunks were mostly thigh meat I supposed as they were really tender and flavourful. This piping hot, moreish dish is the perfect dish to have with rice.

• 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐩 ($𝟕.𝟑+) 🌟

The comforting pot of herbal soup was filled with a variety of Chinese herbs, with the addition of red dates and goji berries giving the soup an unmistakable sweet aftertaste. There's quite alot of chicken chunks inside too.

• 𝐍𝐠𝐨𝐡 𝐇𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 (𝟐 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 $𝟔+)

Generously filled with the usual meat and mushroom, the ngoh hiang lacked flavours and the beancurd skin wasn't as crispy but rather chewy instead. Can skip this and order other claypot dishes.

💬 TLDR: Super affordable given the generous portion and deliciousness. What we ordered was more than enough for 2 pax.
