Quality & affordable tendon in Orchard 😍🙌✨️

@tenyasg pride themselves on quality tempura bowls which are both delicious and value-for-money. 🍤🍚

We came right before the peak hour and managed to get the last seat. Thank goodness because we overheard the estimated waiting time was 1hr and yet people are still willing to wait so there must be something magical about their bowls right? 😻🙀

Served with 3x tempura prawns, pumpkin, french beans and shimeji mushroom. Each ingredient was nicely coated with a layer of well-marinated batter and fried to perfection. Very crispy and satisfying, especially with their savoury tare sauce that elevated the flavours and I liked how it's not too sweet. As a prawn lover, I thought the tempura prawn would be my favourite but the pumpkin stole the limelight. The crispy and savoury batter was a perfect complement to the sweet and soft pumpkin flesh. 🤤🤌

• 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐢 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 ($𝟏𝟐.𝟗+) 🌟

This chicken bowl comes with karaage, chicken breast tempura, pumpkin, sweet potato, and a tempura soft-boiled egg. The karaage was well-marinated albeit on the saltier side. Defying the norm of chicken breast being the driest part, their chicken breast was considerably tender and moist. But the surprise lies in the soft-boiled egg that oozes with yolk when you break it apart, nicely coating the rice below.

💬 TLDR: Now I can see why people are so willing to queue despite the 1hr waiting time...because their tempura bowls ticked all the checkboxes in terms of quality, affordability and deliciousness!!

P/S you can opt for less rice and get $0.5 off if youre a small eater! 😉
