Surprisingly yummy zichar by actor Ben Yeo 😍🤤👌

@charcoalfishheadsteamboat is yet another F&B venture by actor @benyeo23 who partnered with his zi char cousin to offer Malaysian-style dishes.🥘🥗

It's situated in the industrial canteen of Kallang alongside his 3 other F&B concepts (@sgumami_official , @playgroundkallang and Geon Bae). The premises appeared really happening and exciting with all the music and colourful LED lights, a different kind of zichar experience.

Of course, the signature dish has got to be the 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐭 ($𝟔𝟎 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦). The broth was flavoursome with subtle milkiness and sweetness, really addictive I would say. Not much ingredients other than some fried yam, tofu and cabbage but you can add-on at additional costs. The giant grouper slices were silky smooth and melt-in-the-mouth but I do find it quite fishy for some reason.

💬 TLDR: Homely and delicious zi char dishes at relatively affordable prices. Better than average but a little out of the way.
