Fluffy Traditional Pancake Along Neil Road 😗

@bubugaosheng 's unique offerings include min jiang kueh puffs, a cute twist to the traditional open-faced pancake that's filled with fillings. They also sell the traditional slices which we got in various flavours:

• 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 ($𝟏.𝟒) 🌟

The thick pancake was moist and spongey, sandwiching a generous layer of peanut butter spread. Love how nutty and crunchy it was with a lingering savouriness which I believe to come from the salt sprinkled within. Definitely the more flavoursome one among the flavours we have gotten.

• 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐨 ($𝟏.𝟔)

Very beautiful colour but as expected, it has an artifical yam taste. Since both the pancake and the yam spread are light-tasting, the whole combination was rather bland.

• 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 ($𝟏.𝟒) 🌟

The alluring green, freshly grated coconut shavings was juicy and sweet which complemented the pancake with a hint of pandan aroma.

💬 TLDR: Pretty good min jiang kuehs and affordable but I would prefer a slight crisp to the edges.
