Korean Autumn-like Cafe At Orchard 🍁🍂

Celebrated our anniversary at @tigress_82soho , a Korean-fusion gastro bar with beautiful garden theme, eluding koreanish autumn vibes 🍂🍁

The menu is quite limited but you can expect to find usual bistro offerings like burgers, pizzas and even tapas.

• 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐠𝐢 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 ($𝟐𝟔++)

Comes with bulgogi, lettuce, tomato, caramelised onions, jalepenos, red cheddar and bulgogi mayo sandwiched between two buns. Following the western style, you get to choose two sides and we got the fries and mac & cheese. Fries were freshly fried, so it's crispy and fluffy while the mac & cheese was a little muted, the cheese flavour can afford to be more intense. Moving on, the most important component I look out for in a burger is the bun. Sadly, theirs wasn't the fluffy buttered brioche kind, it's rather dry and lacked butteriness. Thankfully, the beef patty was considered pretty moist and tender with a rather strong beefy flavour but not in an unpleasant way. Overall a very hearty and juicy burger but the bulgogi flavour didn't manage to shine through.

• 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 & 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 ($𝟐𝟗++)

Thin crust pizza topped with yang nyeom marinated chicken, mushroom and olives. The first few mouth was kinda spicy but it's fine as you devour through the slices. Very generous with the mushroom and olives toppings but not so much for the chicken chunks. Nonetheless, the slightly crisp crust contrasted the chewy base nicely with a mix of sweet and spicy and unami flavour. Nothing spectacular and it does get a little boring towards the end.

💬 TLDR: Generous portion, comforting atmosphere but tastewise, we were expecting more for the price.
