My fav Char Chan Teng 💯

@sogoodcctsg is possibly my favourite Hong Kong style char chan tang in SG - yummy & affordable! 🥢

They have different menu that starts at different timing so I would recommend coming at 11am to grab their dimsum items.

• 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 ($𝟕.𝟑)

The meat looks tough and dry but it's surprisingly tender with a slightly crisp skin. The eggy noodles was bouncy and generously tossed with sauce that was too salty. It's delicious but if you have limited stomach space like me, forgo this and just grab the rest of my reccomendations hehe.

• 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐬 ($𝟑.𝟓)

Got a shock when I saw the big bowl of CCF and realised its two rolls. It's soft and silky and drenched with lots of peanut sauce, chilli sauce and light soya sauce. I preferred those served with only the latter because the peanut sauce was too thick and salty which makes the dish very heavy on the palatte.

• 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐘𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐮𝐟𝐟 ($𝟑.𝟖) 🌟

Comes in 2 pcs that are deep-fried to perfection without being greasy. The yam was very crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside with char siew fillings that wasn't too wet or sweet.

• 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 ($𝟐) 🌟

Price is only for 1 pc and I regretted not getting more. It's buttery and super "hu" in hokkien (crumbly) with yummy char siew fillings.

• 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐧 𝐰 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 ($𝟐.𝟒) 🌟

Buttery and soft bun with crusty and sweet toasted exterior, sinfully stuffed with a thick slab of butter for extra goodness. Savoury, sweet and buttery all in one mouth!

• 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐧 𝐰 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 ($𝟐) 🌟

Super crispy and moist center from the butter spread and condensed milk. Can't go wrong with this but be careful as the edges can be quite sharp and might have to tug a little to bite off.

• 𝐒𝐨𝐲𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 ($𝟏.𝟖)

Comforting cup of hot soya milk that thankfully wasn't diluted or overly sweet.

💬 TLDR: One of the few places I would highly recommend! Because of the system, you may have to make multiple trips to collect your food but that's alright because I really love their food and more importantly, the affordable prices! 💯
