bangkok | my TOP 5 go to local food spots 😋😋😋

bangkok is fulll of gorgeous cafes, but sometimes u just wanna go back to basics & just get sum GOOD THAI FOOD!!! here are my go to spots i have to hit EVERY TIMEE i go to bangkok 😋😋😋

⭐️ Kub Kao Kub Pla

- this is my current favourite thai restaurant in bangkok!

- their omelette is superr fluffy and yummy - you NEED to try this at least once i swear

- their pad thai and other thai mains are also super well done! very flavourful & tasty but not overwhelming

- i also love their coconut shake!!! really refreshing & light, great for the bangkok heat

⭐️ Greyhound Cafe

- greyhound is a western and thai fusion!

- a must try is def their chicken wings!

- i feel that their noodles arent as good as they used to be, but the rest of their thai food is super amazing

- definitely my go to for mango sticky rice

⭐️ Coffee Stars by Dao

- this is another westernised thai restaurant!

- my favourite item is probably their thai fishcake

- their thai mains are superrr yummy too 😍

⭐️ Thong Smith

- the BEST boat noodles in thailand FOR REAL!!!

- i usually get d1 with

- they also have a dessert place (thong sweet) where u can get the most amazing coconut ice cream & banana fritters 😋😋

⭐️ Laem Chaoren

- this is a thai restaurant specialising in seafood!

- im not a huge seafood person so i was a bit sad going in, but i actually enjoyed it much more than i expected 😋

- their fried fish was DELICIOUS, idk how they get it so crispy without it being oily!

- their tom yum was superrr good as well 😋

personally i dont really feel comfortable eating street food, so these are the places i’d recommend to enjoy reliable local food without any hygiene risks! im sure street food can be great n maybe even better, it’s just not quite for me :)
