1. keep fasting times short
popular fasting periods are from 8-24 hours.
2. eat small amounts on your fasting days
if your not ready for a full fast day, then eat smaller amounts during the hours you’re not fasting.
3. stay hydrated
you don’t want to be dehydrated when your fasting, it can make you fatigue, thirsty and you can get headaches
4. go for a walk
you might be bored when your not eating, so walking or readying I mean do anything not strenuous to keep your mind off food.
5. don’t feast
when you’re done fasting, don’t feast right away eat small amounts of food. if you feast, you could feel tired and bloated.
6. don’t fast if you feel unwell
7. eat protein
fasting can cause muscle loss and one way to combat that is protein.
8. eat whole foods
when your not fasting, eat healthy Whole Foods.
9. supplements
you might loose nutrients when you fast, consider supplements to combat any nutrients you are loosing. note: getting nutrients through eating is best
10. keep excercise light
if you must exercise, do low intensity work outs like walking
