new weekend activity; unlocked! 💓

located in a neighborhood mall in bukit batok, le quest mall - shop, "Moscato by Wine & Kitchen" 🥂

previously dined in Wine & Kitchen , and was told of their retail/workshop shop in the west - i proceeded to do my google search and noticed they had a wine workshop event (8-9 june 2023) so i went and bought myself a ticket to check it out! 💓

honestly, i didnt have any expectations, i was just thrilled there was something really interesting i could attend with my boyfriend on a friday night. 😋

the environment and overall experience peaked the moment we went in, which was a huge shocker as wine&spirits stand-alone shops always seemed intimidating since im not well versed on the topic. 🤔

jonathan (wine specialist) and bryan (staff) shared that they differ frim similar concepted stores as they focus more on spreading the knowledge of wines as well as letting the mass know that the topic of wines is more approachable than what it seems! 🥺

hence why =

1. they chose to be located in bukit batok rather than the town area. (to prove that they are approachable and friendly!)

2. they have FREE wine samplings EVERY WEEKEND! (makes it easier for customers to confidently choose/buy wine after having already tried a few kinds) ‼️

the wine workshop itself was informal, and i noticed that everyone who attended knew as little as i did about wines, which made learning, participating and engaging really easy!
