Some of my favorite book to movies and if they were my favorite more as a book or a movie.

Me before you:3/5 🤩

This film is beautifully romantic; and definitely a tear jerker. Starring Emilia Clarke as Louisa ‘Lou’ Clark. Her character is quirky and bubbly without being cringe. I hate cringe romance movies I just can’t sit through them without SCREAMING. Lou jumping job to job, in order to help her family make ends meet, comes across a job as a care giver for Will Traynor (Sam Claflin) who is paralyzed from the waist down and wheelchair bound. Wills life prior to the accident two years prior was extraordinary, and his now life has him having a bit of a dark outlook on life. Lou’s bubbly charm is put to the test against Wills dark out look that alters their lives. The end of this movie had me bawling. I bet a few are wondering about the low rating. I read the book before the movie and the book is better in my option, because it slows it down. The movie is only like an hour and fifty minutes. Not nearly enough time to capture the entire glow of the relationship, but still not bad nonetheless.

Little woman: 5/5 🤩

I love, love, LOVE, this story. And the movie is just as good. The cast for the remake is just chefs kiss. Although I am a bit partial to Timothee Chalamet (he’s by far one of my favorite actors he will have his own series). This movie follows four sisters. Jo (Saoirse Ronan) who is a writer, Amy (Florence Pugh) a painter, Meg (Emma Watson) the oldest is a school teacher, and the youngest Beth (Eliza scanlen). Theadore (Timothee Chalamet) being the love interest. Childhood friend who proposes to Jo and gets rejected but then Amy encounter’s with him while studying in paris.

Hidden figures: 3/5🤩

A beautiful story about three African American woman’s moments at NASA. Now I rated it so low because I didn’t care much for the movie because I don’t care for these types of films but the story is great. There are a lot of powerful scenes and it’s based on a true story.

The Devil Wears Parada: 5/5🤩

Now I love a good movie about fashion. Anne Hathaway starred as Andy a recent college graduate with stars in her eyes. She manages to land a job at a prestigious magazine company as an assistant to the diabolical Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep). I like how at first Andy doesn’t have much if a fashion sense and is set on staying how she is, but in the end finds out how the real world works; and if she’s going to make it she has to change with the ever changing world. Anne Hathaway does an amazing job in this movie and Meryl Streep is a goddess.
