Used Bookstore Haul!

I freaking LOVE Twice Sold Tales in Farmington, Maine! It’s everything I could hope for in a used bookstore. One of these days, I’ll actually remember to take pictures. It’s a maze if packed shelves with a cozy little reading area when you first walk in. They’ve graciously allowed me to hold NaNoWriMo meet-ups there during November. Best of all: They’re dog friendly!

All the books I bought to paint are books I already own (& I think have painted!) so they’ll all be coming with me to the Maine Cosplay Extravaganza in July!

I wasn’t sure I wanted to do another Harry Potter book… buuuut I REALLY want to try to paint some dragons. I think I’ll make them all chasing a Rita Skeeter beetle 🤔.

Color of Magic I really want to get on audio. I think the Diskworld books would be so much fun to listen to!

Moon Called is the first book in one of my all time favorite series. It’s what inspired me to write urban fantasy in the first place. (I’d really love to meet the author some day and get a chance to really talk about folklore!)

Good Omens, I’m on a kick with this one. I just finished listening to it and am no rewatching the show.

The Hobbit… I wish I could live in the shire. We live on a steep hill and I’m still trying to figure out how I could build a hobbit hole into it.

Love on the Brains and Dragon Charmer are two I have not read… but did read the first in each series!

I read Prospero’s Children probably when it first came out. And I’ve finally gotten my hands on the sequel! I was so freaking excited to find it in the sci-fi/fantasy section of Twice Sold Tales!
