Hidden Gem: Must-Try Charcoal Lala Pot in AMK!

I've noticed that lala pots have been really popular lately! But honestly, the ones near my house are all a bit meh . The seasoning too strong, and the lala confirm frozen one.

But finally, I found this hidden gem in an industrial area—an affordable charcoal lala pot that’s super popular!

The lala are super fresh, every single one is big and juicy, and there’s no sand at all! The fish bone broth is super shiok, so rich and sweet, and it’s kept hot with the charcoal underneath—perfect for rainy days! Every sip of the soup is piping hot and so comforting. Really value for money!

You can also add ingredients like hot pot, but since there were only two of us, the small lala pot was already plenty!

We just ordered some prawn paste, beef slices, pork belly, and veggies (you can see what we got in the later part), and we couldn’t finish it all!

It’s a legit 20-minute walk, deep in the Ang Mo Kio industrial area, or need to take four stops bus —but worth the trip!

💁🏻‍♀️ Super popular:

Even though it’s in a hawker center in an industrial area plus a rainy day, it’s packed!

Everyone’s there just for this pot! I suggest going around 5pm. The later it gets, the crazier the queue, so be prepared!

⚠️ Avoid bringing kids

The staff brings out the charcoal pot, and it’s on 🔥. I saw a few kids playing around, and it was really dangerous⚠️, so keep an eye on them or better yet, don’t bring them along!
