🇸🇬 Orchard Brand New Taiwan Night Markets feast!

Orchard opened a new Taiwanese night market, and I couldn't wait to visit during their trial period!

I didn't have high expectations, but the flavours were mind-blowing, easily surpassing 80% of Taiwan's street food in Singapore!

🦪 Oyster Omelette SGD 8

It's super popular, and the freshly fried omelettes make the queue long (around 25 mins). Unlike the usual Singapore version, the Taiwanese one has a sweet sauce

🫘 Braised Delights SGD 6.50

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Taiwanese-style braised delights are refreshing and tasty, and at SGD 2.50/100g, it's reasonably priced. The best part is they're super quick, ready in just 7 minutes!

🦪 Oyster Mee Sua SGD 5

Rating /⭐⭐⭐

This is also super popular, the wait was about 20 minutes. The Oyster Mee Sua tastes not bad but can pass if the queue is too long.

🍚 Tainan Glutinous Rice (forgot the name, price SGD 4+)

The taste is quite nice, but the portion is really small.

The taste is good, but the portion is also quite small.

🌭 大肠包小肠 SGD 8.80

Roasted glutinous rice sausage with regular sausage, it's delicious, but in Taiwan, they usually have more toppings; here, you can only choose one.

The mixed hot Mochi with ice is super duple delicious! Warm, chewy mochi paired with sesame, peanut powder, and shaved ice, was a delight!

❌Don’t go alone

Hard to find seats and almost every stall has a long queue. It's better to go with a batch of friends Lol

🚶🏻‍♂️Long queues

it’s quite new, they just opened last Friday so their staff is not very experienced yet, so they are quite slow and the queues are long.

👍🏻Overall, highly recommended! The food is delicious, and considering it's Orchard, the prices are quite reasonable. Will definitely come back!
