Things to note BEFORE dyeing your hair purple 🥴

Purple is indeed a nice colour and a hair colour that many people would like to try! 💈💜

I dyed my hair purple at the start of the year as it has always been a colour that I wanted to try! As I am someone with generally darker hair, the shade of purple did not turn out to be as vibrant (but it was fine to me because I didn’t wanna bleach my hair too many times either) 😫

After a few weeks, the colour started fading to blue, then gradually green (literally the seaweed colour kind of green) 😩

I was told that by some of my friends that purple MIGHT actually fade to green but oh well I didn’t really think much about it 🥲

I went back to the salon a few months later to dye it into a brownish-black colour. However, the greenness did not completely go off and you can still see some streaks of green… It will probably take a few rounds of dyeing it black to get rid of it completely 🤔

Don’t get me wrong, purple hair is a rly nice colour but just take note that the dye would likely fade to green and it will be tough to remove it completely! 🥺
