one of the things that I love the most about music curation is discovering and researching music from old to new. recently, i’ve been looking at music from the 1950s - 1990s while still listening to new and current music so here is my top 10 recent digs that I think you should give a listen to and why.

- Cindy - Fall In Love: Remind me of early Mariah Carey and pop and rnb artists of that time. the dreamy and airy chorus makes you feel like you’re floating

- Alemeda - Guy’s Girl: Disclaimer: this made my inner child me happy asf. a nostalgic feel of early and mid 2000s

- Orion Sun - Rather Be: Beautiful and dreamy that is soothing to the ear

- Samm Henshaw - The Café: Soulful and dramatic that paints a picture of longing that hurts but sounds so good

- Chandra - Kate: A youthful but fun song over a experimental and techno beat that leaves your head bobbing

- Jaz Karis - Nice Girls: Makes you want to grab your diary and put it all on the paper bc that’s what they did in this song. vulnerable, blunt, and conflicted

- Eloise Laws - 1,000 Laughs: Infectious disco track that will have to prancing around your house

- Foxy Brown - So Hot: A “that girl” anthem over a dancehall beat. it doesn’t get no better than that
