we DROVE across the country in 8 days 🤯

& i would do it again 😌

y’all, if you have the means to do a cross country road trip, DO IT!!! God is so specific and strategic in his plan - driving to California was something on my bucket lists when I graduated college in 2018 but i didn’t have the means (emotionally and financially to do it)

my husband moved to El Cajon, CA in 2015 with the intentions of joining the Navy but it just didn’t work out. it wasn’t his time.

in 2022, my husband decided to enlist in the Navy after we had our second baby and got married. it was an emotional & trying year 😭

fast forward to 2023, my husband received his first duty orders to SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA and if you know anything about military orders you can get a reimbursement if you drive to your duty station within the United States. so we figured this our chance to fulfill our bucket lists dream 🥹 and to be able to do it with our two children was 10000x’s more special 🦋🤎✨

so. we packed up our apartment in nj, said our goodbyes to our friends and family, bought a new jeep & headed on I-80 🌾🌵
