My Face but Better!

Hi everyone! Come with Myra Amran as I’ll be showing you guys the products I use to get the ‘No Makeup, Makeup Look’.

First up: Base!

After prepping my skin with moisturizer and sunscreen, I would apply Glossier Futuredew Oil Serum for that natural and extra glow from within. I then apply the Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer with SPF20 to even out the skin tone. On a really good day, applying skin tint would be enough but on some days I’d also apply concealer to cover up the dark circles or pimples from the lack of sleep or eating too much junk- it could be because of both HAHA. I switch up between the Glossier Stretch Concealer and Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer. Both the skin tint & concealer gives good and natural coverage which is key to getting the ‘No Makeup, Makeup Look’.

Second: Cheeks!

Next, to stop myself from looking too pale and not so much like Wednesday Addams, I’d use the cream blush from Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam or Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff on the cheeks and nose. They’re pigmented, buildable and blend easily. For highlighter, I use the Rare Beauty Positive Light Liquid Luminizer in Transcend on the high end of my cheekbones.

Third: Eyes!

On the eyelids, I apply the Glossier Monochromes eyeshadow trio in either Almond, Mist or Bluff. Here’s how I do it - apply matte finish first and top it off with metallic finish with extra in the inner corner of the eye. The shine in the inner corner of the eye gives off VS model vibes and I’m all for it. I don’t do anything to my lashes or eyebrows except for brushing them out with a spooly.

Fourth: Lips!

To hydrate my lips, I use Glossier Balm Dotcom in Lavender and top it off with Glossier Ultralip in Lucite, Portrait or Pisces. They’re made of hyaluronic acid (extremely hydrating), the color is pigmented and buildable which means you can try out different levels of coverage for different looks.

Fifth: Finishing!

To make sure my makeup stays in place and gives off a dewy & glowy look, I either use the Rare Beauty Always An Optimitist 4-in-1 Mist spray or pat down the Glossier Wowder finishing powder all over the face.

Friendly tip: I usually apply makeup using my fingers or a beauty blender. For beauty blenders, make sure to wet it first with water or a finishing spray so the application wouldn’t be too drying for the skin.
