This is for my Estrogen dominant girlies.

During this healing journey of mine, I came to terms that a lot of my hormonal issues were in relation to being Estrogen Dominant.

Some of the symptoms of Estrogen Dominance are: Dense breasts, hot flashes, fatigue, hair loss, headaches, irregular period, and PMS. And boy did I deal with PMS.

I learned how to holistically do my best with leveling my hormones and reducing Estrogen from being so dominant. Here are a few holistic ways or ways to be mindful of when supporting your hormones.

- You want to make sure you are using the bathroom (pooping) at least once or twice a day. This is so important. Why? Because if you aren’t going as often or at all, it’s likely that your hormones like excess estrogen will be recycled within the body.

- Limiting or better yet eliminating alcohol consumption. This taxes our liver. Our liver is a major detoxification system. Rather than drinking alcohol, prioritize supporting your life by drinking dandelion root tea which helps support your liver and hormones.

- Coffee, I know we love our coffee but did you know that coffee encourages Estrogen? and did you know that Estrogen was known as a growth hormone? consuming loads of caffeine will only encourage cortisol in turn encouraging estrogen dominance.

- Wholefoods are your best friend especially when you are consuming cruciferous vegetables, like Broccoli for instance. Cruciferous vegetables are known to help eliminate excess estrogen. I literally had a phase where I ate cruciferous vegetables with every meal and went without coffee. let me tell you those months where I had my period, they were legit pain free and I couldn’t believe it.

Also carrot salad is great for supporting your hormones!
