Upcycled Clothing: Shrug Top from ACUBI Fashion ✂️

Hey there earth pleasing babes! Do you love slow and ethical fashion like I do? This post might actually be for you!

Acubi Fashion has been really trendy these days! It’s the new fashion trend that a lot of fashion enthusiasts try to wear.

I love fashion trends, but sometimes new clothing pieces can be quite pricey especially when it comes to new and trendy clothing pieces, that’s why with the trendy ACUBI fashion, I just did a cute DIY for a ACUBI fashion clothing staple - which is a SHRUG TOP.

A SHRUG TOP is like a micro cardigan but it’s like a sweater. It is very cropped, cardigan-like garment with short or long sleeves cut in one with the body, typically knitted or even crochet. Generally, a shrug covers less of the body than a typical cardigan would.

You will be sewing for this tutorial but I assure you it’s going to be easy-peasy. You just need to cut the shrug shape and then hem, that’s it!

Here is a simple rundown of how I made the SHRUG TOP

Trace the shrug top pattern, drawing a “C” like shape.

Cut the tracing

And then hem

Now you’re basically done!
