Located along Hyeopjae Beach, the cafe offers stunning views of the beautiful beach, with its charcoal rocks, ivory sand and glorious emerald waters. I ordered the signature Beryl Bada Latte and it was pretty good! The blue syrup was sea salt flavoured and created a nice balance with the bitterness of the coffee and the sweet cream foam. Super pretty layers for photos too! You can exit from the cafe directly to the beach. There’s also outdoor seats for those who wish to bask in the sea breeze, and a rooftop area upstairs that’s perfect for photo taking (barring the strong winds). The cafe can be crowded even on weekdays and seats are quite limited, so do be prepared to wait! My experience at this cafe is still living in my head rent free 😩

I took the bus from Beryl Cafe and was blessed with beautiful views on the journey from the bus stop. I ordered a cup of hot jasmine tea to warm myself from the strong sea breeze and just sat looking out onto the ocean for hours. It was a truly healing experience for me and I wish I could relive that euphoric feeling everyday. The cafe is also beautifully designed like an indoor forest and has second and third floors for Birds Eye views!

Located on the edge of the east of Jeju, this cafe offers ethereal ocean views. I arrived shortly after opening time and there weren’t many bakes available, but expect a mouthwatering array of savoury sandwiches and bagels and adorably decorated sweet pastries! They also have a daily baking schedule where bakes are released at staggered timings, so I wouldn’t rush to visit at opening. I got the bacon and sour cream cheese bagel with the Jeju barley coffee - the bagel was just alright, the bagel and bacon were soft while the cream cheese was a bit gelat after a while. The coffee was not bad, it comes with a huge dollop of barley cream so skip that if you don’t have a sweet tooth! My favorite part about this cafe was being able to catch parasailers working their magic, they effortlessly lifted themselves off the water with the momentum from the wind. ✨
