The truth about eye lasik and how much it costs! 💸

👀 It’s been 4 months since my post lasik ops and I just wanted to #SpillTheTea with y’all on whether the Eye lasik is worth it for anyone who is considering to get their perfect eyesight! ✨🥸

I’ve worn glasses for about 15 years and I thought through for a very long time before deciding to finally go for the surgery! So here are some pros and cons for y’all to consider before making your final decision!

✨PROS

✔️More convenient

✔️ Clear eyesight

✔️ No more prescription glasses or contact lenses

✔️ Can finally see your shampoos in the bath 😂

✔️ No need to worry about bringing extra lense case / glasses out

👎🏻CONS

❌ Dry eyes (until now, need to put eye drops)

❌ A little blur at times

❌ Damaged cornea forever

❌ Weaken normal cornea

✨PROCEDURE ✨

I have shortsightedness and also astigma for both of my eyes however my degree was not that high. Right side -3.0 and left side -3.5. So if y’all are wondering is it only people with higher degree can do the lasik? Answer is not true!! My degree is not the highest too but they can still get it done. Ultimately it comes down to whether prescription glasses are bothering you anot!

I went to have my lasik pre assessment first and did surgery on the same evening itself. I went at 11am for pre-assessment and that took about 3 hours, they had different stations to check every part of your eye to see if you’re eligible! Then at about 4pm I returned to have my surgery done. By 5 plus 6 I was all done!! Lasik was super fast and painless, only took about 20 mins for surgery but we had to wait for other patients!

💸 Damage : ~ $5.5k (including pre, post assessment, and medications!

🌟 WORTH IT?

10/10 YES FOR ME!!!

Overall, I would say I never regretted cos it made my life so much easier! I never have to worry about popping my contact lenses or buying contact lens solution! Also need not worry about looking fugly with my specs while I’m still out. And for me, that’s my biggest takeaway from the lasik surgery!
