Which should u go for: lash extensions or lift?

It’s certainly really tough to determine whether to go for lash extensions or lash lift…. But fret not, here a list of pros and cons to consider for both (accumulated based on my personal experience!)

👀 Lash Extensions

1. Pros

- it definitely is more dramatic and obvious compared to lash lift (hence looks prettier!)

- get to choose designs based on your preference (whether you want to go for more natural looking or dramatic looking! There are a lot of styles to choose from)

- simplifies your makeup routine by ALOT. After getting lash extensions I don’t have to curl my lashes, put on mascara or even eyeliner! Hence saves alot of time in the morning ⏰

2. Cons

- does not last as long as lash lift (usually it’s about 1 month, but this depends on how well you take care of them and your lash tech’s skills as well)

- higher maintenance (rubbing your eyes will result in the lashes to drop and you have to comb your lashes regularly as well)

- more expensive, because of the frequent need to go for a new set :(

👀 Lash lifts

1. Pros

- lasts longer, usually about 3 months!

- cheaper because you don’t have to go for a new lash lift as frequent as extensions

- lower maintenance as you can rub your eyes 😀

2. Cons

- looks way more natural compared to lash extensions, go for this if you still want to do your eye makeup (i.e. put on mascara)

- results are highly dependent on your own natural lashes. If your lashes are long, the lash lift would turn out more obvious and it would look nicer! But for shorter and sparse lash, results may not be optimal

- can’t get to choose design as lash lift is basically giving your lash a perm

I swear by lash extensions because I love how good it looks and it saves a lot of my time in the morning 😋 Definitely worth the $$ spent every month! Hopefully these pointers above can help your decision on whether to go for extensions or lash lift!
