The BEST Italian food in Singapore!

Tucked away at HillView2 is iO Italian, by far the best Italian restaurant I’ve tried in Singapore 🤤

📍iO Italian Osteria

A restaurant serving authentic Italian food, wine and bread (there’s a small bakery in the restaurant selling baked goods such as focaccia)!

The 3 main dishes I highly recommend are:

1) The assorted pizza (see pic 2)

- The assorted pizza basically comes in 5 different flavors! The one we ordered was in large which was perfect for 4 to share

- if I’m not wrong they use focaccia for the pizza, which makes it really crispy on the outside yet moist and soft on the inside. It is really to die for, please try it!!

2) Homemade Tagliolini, Prawns, Asparagus Pasta (see pic 4)

- Every single time I visit iO Italian, I’ll make sure to order this pasta because it’s REALLY good

- The pasta texture is cooked to al dente, and I’ve no idea what the sauce is but it is more towards tomato based! Prawns used were fresh, and they were generous in the serving as well 👩‍🍳

3) Pistachio Tiramisu

- This is a NO BRAINER! If you visit iO Italian, please make sure you end off your meal with this tiramisu!!

- Instead of the usual tiramisu topped off with chocolate powder, they use pistachio powder and pistachio cream to layer the cake. I don’t think any other restaurants have tiramisu as unique and nice as theirs!

- It is creamy, and not too sweet as well. Literally perfection ❤️

These are the top 3 dishes I highly recommend! I’ve yet to try the roasted pork, but it is a highly recommended dish by others as well.
