SENSORY PLAY: Spring Things + Edible Dirt

Van loves sensory play! 🥰 We love to incorporate new ways for him to explore new things - especially as the seasons change. We did a spring sensory bin in our sensory table.

For this activity:

EDIBLE DIRT:

7 cups flour - baked at 350 for 5 min

1 cup cocoa powder

1 1/4 cup oil (we did EVOO)

ITEMS: *most found at a craft store

pots

eggs + carton

garden tools (this set is from Amazon)

birds + butterflies

birds’ nests

flowers - faux/real

carrots

rocks

water pail

When Van grows old of these items, we are going to keep the dirt, add water and excavation tools and trucks for some messy play!
