Hudson Yard Dining Guide: Zou Zou’s

Zou Zou's is a lively and modern Eastern Mediterranean restaurant from chef Juliana Latif, who spent years working at some of the most notable restaurants in NYC, including The NoMad.

🙌🏼🥰✨Let’s talk vibes: as soon as you walk in, you’ll be greeted by tall ceilings, large windows, and a naturally lit dining room. The use of light green tiles and off white walls teases the patrons with some exotic Mediterranean flare.

🥙🫓🥗 Let’s talk food: the menu is inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean, with a focus on Lebanese and Israeli cuisine. The menu features a variety of dishes, including small plates, salads, entrees, and desserts. I ordered:

🦪Half dozen oysters: fresh and tasty with the perfectly citrusy finish

🥙 Make-Your-Own Dip: I chose whipped ricotta, green tahini, and squash. All 3 dips give such a different tasting experience but the ricotta is my personal favorite.

🥗 Grilled lamb salad: the lamb was juicy and tender; the lettuce gives a great complementary touch

📝 Verdict: 8.5/10 Zou Zou’s offered a fun, romantic dining experience. The price is a bit on the higher end, but the ambiance, service, and food are exceptional! Highly recommend if you are looking for a cute spot to celebrate!
